Preparations for the Denarau Food, Wine and Music Festival which kicks off tomorrow is on track says event coordinator Ellana Kalounisiga.

Kalounisiga says they are just touching upon a few things before they welcome hundreds of people tomorrow in Denarau.

She says they also have a good line up of musicians and performers like Justin Wellington, Knox brotherhood, Nem and Talei and Rako Pasefika.

“yeah we actually have a lot of interest from tourists overseas and we have presold 100 tickets to them who are in Fiji now just for the event and that’s a positive for Fiji and musicians as it gives the locals a chance to display their skill sets to them so it’s really exciting and we are really looking forward to tomorrow.”

Kalounisiga says they are expecting hundreds of people tomorrow.

The event will run from 3pm to midnight on Denarau Island in Nadi which will also have food stalls available that are provided by Sheraton Resort, Westin Resort, Radisson Blu and Hilton Resort.
