Reddy happy with results

FijiFirst Candidate Mahendra Reddy is happy with the results of the counting of votes so far.

When counting closed at 6am, the final provisional results sees the FijiFirst Party leading the tally with 233, 094 votes.

Speaking to FBC News early this morning, Reddy says the numbers indicate the people’s belief in the Party.

“That demonstrates what FijiFirst Party has done so far and the vision of the party and the manifesto that the party has launched. During our campaign, we have said that our manifesto is and will be our contract with the people. I think the people are very pleased with the manifesto and given our track record, we expect to, with or ability to deliver, the votes basically reflects the peoples will and confidence in our ability to deliver.”

Reddy adds he is confident the FijiFirst Party will have majority seat in Parliament.
