An alarming number of road accidents are a concern for the Land Transport Authority.

With only six months, seventeen lives were lost in road accidents.

Chief executive, Naisa Tuinaceva, says majority of their officers are now been deployed to the red zone and basically the black spot areas.

According to him, these are the areas where majority of the road accidents occur.

The Authority’s goal for this year is to reduce the number of fatalities on our roads.
