Former national 7s rep Watisoni Votu has been named in the West team that will feature in Pacific Nations Cup 15s trial match next Wednesday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Votu will be slotted into the backline.

Another interesting inclusion in the side is former Taranaki backrower, Nemia Soqeta.

The West trial team will be coached by Nadroga mentor, Esala Nauga and assisted by Vatukoula coach, Senirusi Seruvakula.

The East-West match will serve as a trial for players vying for a spot in the Pacific Nations Cup squad.

Proceedings from the match will also be directed towards the Prime Minister’s Flood Appeal.
