Bosco says for 15 years, they’ve faced difficulty when traveling to and from their farms and they have submitted requests for the road upgrading.

He adds, the farm road has been in use for over 30 years and had deteriorated significantly.

Bosco says the road will surely elevate the level of farming in the Estate.

Commissioning the farm road Minister for Agriculture Dr. Mahendra Reddy says the assistance was provided to alleviate issues that affected production levels.

Dr. Reddy says the government hopes that through this development, production in Salialevu will increase considerably.

The farm road was constructed at a cost of approximately $35,000.
