International referees from IBO to officiate Kwadjo-Naliva rematch

South Pacific Boxing Promoter Freddy Chand has assured boxing fans that the main bout between Joseph Kwadjo and Savenaca Naliva  will be a professional bout.

The bout will take place next Saturday.

Chand says they have sorted an international referee from the International Boxing Organisation (IBO) to officiate the two title fights.

He adds that mistakes have been learned from the previous fight and they are well prepared going into the rematch.

 

“The security measures have been beefed up. We’ve had meetings with the police and the match officials. The ring is up to date and has been paid for which was the same ring used in our last event.”

There will be a total of nine bouts.

The main bout will be between Savenaca Naliva and Joseph Kwadjo who will be contesting for the vacant light heavyweight title at Prince Charles Park in Nadi next Saturday.
