A 48-year-old man will be produced in the Nausori Magistrates Court for a case of alleged rape whereby the victim is the accused’s’ 42-year-old wife.

Police say the accused is alleged to have committed the offence on several occasions during the month of April in a settlement in Tailevu.

The accused has been charged with four counts of rape, one count of breach of domestic violence restraining order and one count of damaging property.
