Highlanders end its losing streak

The Highlanders have snapped a five-game losing streak, beating the Blues 24-12 in its super rugby match last night.

The home team went into halftime with a slight 7-5 lead over the Blues after a grueling first half.

Highlanders right winger Matt Faddes came up with the play of the match in the 56th minute, speeding all the way to score the Highlanders third try of the match extending their lead.

In other Super Rugby matches, the Waratahs beat the Rebels 23-20.

The Brumbies defeat the Stormers 19-17.
