Ba FC to meet New Caledonia's Hienghene in OFC quarter-finals

The Ba football side will face New Caledonia’s Hiengehene Sports in the OFC Champions League quarterfinal in April.

Ba finished second in its pool last week will travel to Kone, New Caledonia to face host who emerges top of its pool.

The Men In Black’s pool opponent and Champions League title holder Team Wellington faces Henderson Eels.

Nine times champion Auckland City who topped Group D will welcome Papua New Guinea’s Group B runners-up Lae City FC.

AS Central Sport from Tahiti will host Group D runners up AS Magenta from New Caledonia.

Looking further into the competition the draw has also determined that the winner of the quarter-final between Hienghene Sport and Ba FC will host the first semi-final against the winner of the contest between Team Wellington and Henderson Eels.

Meanwhile, the second semi-final will be staged either in Tahiti or New Caledonia with the winner of the match between AS Central Sport and AS Magenta hosting the winner of the Auckland City versus Lae City FC clash.

The final will also be a one-off contest hosted by the winner of the second semi-final in mid-May.
