Verevou, Saukuru and Kautoga cleared to feature for Suva

Good news for Suva fans as Fiji Football Association has cleared Rewa’s Iosefo Verevou, Epeli Saukuru and Labasa striker Vilitati Kautoga to play for the capital city side.

The three players are set to feature against Ba in the Vodafone Premier League match on Sunday.

Suva president Ritesh Pratap says they came to an agreement after the dispute committee meeting at Fiji FA headquarters in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

He says their midfielders Tevita Waranivalu and Bruce Hughes have also been cleared and will play for Rewa this season.

Former Delta Tigers defender Vuniuci Tikomaimereke has to wait to play for Labasa as he has a disciplinary case to attend on the 13th of this month.

Meanwhile, three matches will be played in the VPL this weekend.

Nasinu faces Labasa at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori at 3pm, at the same time, at ANZ Stadium Suva faces Ba and Tavua hosts Rewa at Garvey Park.
