Elite teams such as Wardens, Fire, Tabadamu and Uluinakau will be part of the 32 teams which will compete in the Lomaiviti 7s this weekend.

This is an increase of 22 teams from last year.

Tournament chair, Sivorosi Tora says this is a good chance for teams in the Lomaiviti province to showcase their raw talents.

“Getting the teams form the outer islands it’s like exposing the raw talent that they have here against the big teams who have been competing in bigger 7s tournaments around the country.”

The winner will walk away with five thousand dollars.

The 7s Lomaiviti 7s tournament will be held on Saturday at Bidesi Park in Suva.
