The Fiji Airways Fijiana Women’s side is calling on fans to come in numbers when they face Papua New Guinea in its second Oceania Championship match today.

Fijiana defeated Tonga 53-8 in the first match last Friday.

Captain Rusila Nagasau says they are expecting a huge support from the local fans as the hope to give their best against PNG.

“We ask the public here in Fiji especially in Lautoka and back at home if they could come and support us. We hardly have games here only the men’s team they play here but for us it is an honor to play here.”

Fiji plays PNG at 3.30pm at Lautoka’s Churchill Park and in a game earlier at 1pm Tonga meets Samoa at the same venue.
