The Labasa football side’s 5-1 victory over Nasinu has set its platform in its remaining games in the Courts IDC underway at ANZ Stadium.

Coach Johan Leewai says they have pointed out their weaknesses and are working on it to counter their opponents.

“I think we put ourselves in a better platform for today’s second match and I think improvement needs to be done and tighten up a little bit and the defenders are working overtime and we will have to keep possession.”

The Babasiga Lions last won the IDC title in 2016 where they beat Ba 2-1.

Meanwhile, Labasa will play Lautoka at 4pm today.
