Leader of Opposition sends message of support for Indonesia

Leader of the Opposition Ro Teimumu Kepa has sent a message of support to the people of Indonesia, in light of the devastating tsunami in Sulawesi on Friday.

In a statement, Ro Teimumu noted how Indonesia and Fiji have close ties which are valued and that in recent times contacts between our people have grown to new heights.

Keeping that in mind, Ro Teimumu noted that they are more concerned about the magnitude of this disaster and its impact on the lives of the people of Indonesia.

The Opposition Leader sent prayers and sincere sympathies to the people of Indonesia for a speedy recovery.

Adding her condolences as Fiji joins Indonesia in mourning the loss of lives of hundreds of people in the disaster.
