Fijian agro-produced exhibited in Australia

The Agriculture Ministry, in an effort to continue building export pathways and market access for local products is hosting a Fiji Showcase booth at the Fine Food Show in Melbourne, Australia.

The Show, which is Australasia’s largest exhibition for the food and beverage industry is featuring Five Agro Exporter enterprises.

Deputy Secretary Agriculture Development, Jone Sovalawa says the show attracts more than 1,000 exhibitors from Australia alone and over 27,000 international exhibitors and visitors from 50 other countries.

Sovalawa says the Show is giving another opportunity for emerging agro businesses to showcase their ideas and products.

The participating agro exporters are Bula Coffee, Agro Marketing Authority, Fijiana Cacao also known as Adi Chocolate, Bula Batiki (a new small agro exporter), and Kaiming Agro Processors Ltd.

The Show ends tomorrow.
