The Life Insurance Corporation of India will soon introduce ‘e-Life Insurance’, an online portal for Fijians.

Chair, Vijay Sharma says this will assist Fijians select their insurance policies online, from the comfort of their homes.

Sharma says they are targeting the working public who do have time to visit the LICI outlets.

“Particularly those people who are very busy in their work, in their leisure time, they can sit on their computer and they can decide about policies. Typically these policies like premium payment and other services can also be done on internet.”

LICI currently offers 19 insurance policies and more than 63,000 Fijians have signed up for this.

The e-life insurance will be introduced in October.
