While the Fiji mixed Archery team’s participation in the 2019 Pacific Games will get them an automatic qualification to the 2020 Olympics.
FANSANOC Chief Executive Lorraine Mar says Fiji’s mixed team should be ready for 2019 Games in Samoa.
“We would expect Fiji Archery to put some focus on their mixed team because that is a direct qualifier. If I remember correctly in the Vanuatu mini-games the mixed team won a gold medal so they should be in a good position”
Fiji is expected to field over 200 athletes and officials to participate in 25 sports at the Pacific Games in Samoa next year.
