Over 150,000 Fijians in rural communities have benefitted from the provision of clean drinking water under the FijiFirst government.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama revealed this while opening the Natadradave Water Project in Tailevu today.

Bainimarama says this is a record as thousands of Fijians now know the feeling of joy and security brought by seeing clean water when they switch on the tap.

“I believe that access to clean water for our people is absolutely fundamental to our future development and the prosperity of our people”

The PM says access to clean water is more than a building block to development.
