No date has been set as yet on when Nadi town will be declared a city.

Nadi City Committee Chair Sanjit Patel says they’ve been having meeting for the past few months and are looking at Prince Charles Park as the venue for the celebration.

Patel also want the celebration to be held on a Saturday.

He confirms initial plans have been conducted, however they’re waiting on Local Government minister Parveen Bala for a confirmation date.
