USP launches mobile app

In a bid to provide the USP’s information, services and web functionalities accessible to the users instantly and efficiently the University of the South Pacific has launched their official Mobile App.

Vice Chancellor and President of USP Professor Rajesh Chandra says this App has features such as notification on exam timetable and quiz which were initially SMS based service are now in this App.

“We have seen the tremendous growth of mobile telephoning and in fact when you look at the development of ICT’s around the world the fastest developing segment is the mobile telephoning”

Meanwhile, in conjunction with the mobile App they also launched Campus Map designed to help new staff, and students to find their way around USP Laucala campus.
