The post mortem of Monish Sami, the second victim who was involved in the Kasavu accident earlier this week has been conducted and the cause of death is drowning.

Kaushal Singh who was the first victim also drowned.

Sami who was driving a white Prius belonging to a Nasinu bus company picked Singh up from Baulevu at around 4 am on Tuesday.

They were heading towards Suva to pick another passenger when Sami allegedly failed to negotiate a sharp bend at Kasavu and ended up in the Rewa River.

Police investigation continues to ascertain the cause of the accident.
