The National Fire Authority plans to expand its services in 11 other areas.

These include Navua, Deuba, Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Rakiraki, Korovou, Savusavu, Labasa and Taveuni.

While opening Fiji’s largest Fire Station in Savusavu yesterday, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says NFA is present in most of these areas but some stations need upgrading.

He says this is part of NFA’s strategic objective.
