Jezreel lion of Judah church leader Jone Cokanauto who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for rape in 2017, is now facing another sexual assault charge.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecution confirms that Cokanauto allegedly sexually assaulted a 27-year-old woman.

The woman reported the alleged case after Cokanauto was sentenced.

Meanwhile, there were twenty-two people charged with a total of 37 counts of separate incidents last month.

DPP says there were twenty-eight rape cases, one attempted rape, and two abduction with intent, three defilement cases and three sexual assault.

There were 22 victims of whom 15 were under the age of 18 years.

There were twelve incidents where the victims and the accused were related to one another.

In one incident, a 75-year-old man was charged for allegedly raping his 3-year-old granddaughter and in another incident a 43-year-old father was charged with the rape of his 14-year-old daughter who fell pregnant after the incident.

There were two separate incidents where a 59-year-old and 38-year-old men were charged for allegedly raping their 8 and 9-year-old nieces.

In another incident, a 29-year-old man was charged for allegedly raping his 12-year-old nephew.

There were two incidents of marital rape where a 32-year-old and a 43-year-
old were charged with the rape of their 23-year-old and 36-year-old wives.

In a separate incident a 33-year-old man was charged with multiple counts of rape of his 13-year-old stepdaughter and 14-yearold niece. The accused was also charged with an act with intent to cause grievous harm.

There were two separate incidents where a 30-year-old was charged with the rape of his 13-year-old cousin while a 23-year-old was charged for allegedly defiling his 15-year-old cousin.

In another incident, a 33-year-old man was charged with the rape of his 13-year-old adoptive sister.

There was one incident, where a 29-year-old was charged with the attempted rape of his 20-year-old girlfriend. The accused was also charged with assault.

Three cases were withdrawn after discontinuances.
