Discussions at the inaugural Construction Industry Council Conference have been rather constructive.

President of the Fiji Architects Association President Adish Naidu says that it was about time the construction industry had its own conference.

“This conference has gotten a ray of people from all different walks of life and this should be held regularly so that we can gauge where the industry is heading, what problems we face and what we need to do improve so this conference is very important.”

Meanwhile, issues discussed so far have to do with the licensing of builders and the importance of training in the sector.
