New medical centre for Suva now fully operational

The Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre based in Nasese, Suva is now fully operational and open to the public in particular the centre is targeting underprivileged Fijians.

The centre which is jointly run by its founding organisation, the Sai Prema Foundation Fiji and the Ministry of Health offers free general outpatient services and consultations.

Centre Director – Dr. Krupali Tappoo says the public’s response has been encouraging with bigger patient numbers expected.

All the services and medications offered at the centre are free of charge, the centre currently has two doctors and several nurses.

There is also a full-time dietician available for consultations.

Dr. Tappoo says in the near future the foundation expects to bring in overseas specialists in various fields.

She adds that these services will also be offered completely free of cost and the public will be notified as and when they are brought in.
