Fiji 7s team aims to win fourth title in NZ

The Fiji Airways men’s 7s side aims to win its fourth title in New Zealand this weekend.

The side won the then Wellington 7s in 2000, 2006 and 2010.
Coach Gareth Baber says, they have rounded up their preparation for the inaugural Hamilton 7s and believes the team will progress this weekend.

“Coach Gareth Baber says, with the young players in got in the squad, his aim is to develop them for the Commonwealth Games in April and the World in USA.”

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales and Spain in the tournament.

They play Wales in its first pool game at 11.36am on tomorrow, and then takes on Spain at 3.02pm before battling Australia at 6.50pm.

The cup quarterfinals starts at 11.36am on Sunday, the semis will be played at 3.49pm while the final kicks off at 7.03pm.
