A nineteen-year-old student who is alleged to have defiled a fifteen-year-old student, appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.

The student is charged with one count of defilement and one count of sexual assault.

The alleged offence occurred between January 2014 and December last year, in a settlement in Nabua, Suva.

The accused and the victim were neighbours.

Magistrate Waleen George has ordered the accused to move from Nabua and live with his father, in Nasinu.

The case will be recalled on the 19th of next month.
