The parliament sitting scheduled for next month has been postponed to March.

Speaker of the House Dr Jiko Luveni, says this is because Fiji will be hosting the 20th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers Meeting from February 19 to 23rd in Nadi.

She says given the level of commitment and engagement the Ministers and their ministries will provide to the meeting, the speaker has ruled February’s sitting to be postponed.

The Parliament sittings for February and March will be held concurrently, from March 5th to 16th.
