Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem, says the awareness campaigns on the general election will be done strategically.

Saneem says their intention is to have the whole country prepared – so the awareness will begin from early next year.

“One of the things that you will find is that if you pick-up next year’s Fiji Directory, you will find elections information on the very first cover and hence you will see that we have taken a very pro-active role in promoting awareness about the election as well as voter education on platforms that are widely available without waiting for the last minute.”

Saneem says a major drive will take place from March 15th to April 15th.
