A twenty-nine-year-old man of Nausori has been found guilty of one count of rape and one count of indecent assault by the Suva High Court.

Judge, Justice Vincent Perera concurred with the three assessors’ opinion this afternoon and convicted the man.

He will be sentenced tomorrow.

The man raped his fifteen-year-old neighbour on February 13th last year and indecently assaulted her two months later.

The father of two has been remanded in custody.
