More than forty teams of four athletes each have registered for tomorrows Suva Challenge.

It will be a 10 kilometers race which is the first of the two major build-ups for next year’s Suva Marathon.

Committee President, Sandeep Narayan says, this is the usual build-up to the main event.

“This is part of our ongoing events that we have every year. As we had said earlier, we have the Thursday Fun runs every week. Then we have the first Saturday of the month runs and we also have two major events which is the Suva Challenge in November and April.”

More than 250 athletes are expected to take part in a race which begins at 7am from Albert Park in Suva.
