“In Fiji when it started, it was the movement of mails through boats and on land it was on horses but now as time progressed with advanced technology coming into place, the postal industry has come a long way in terms of progress and moving into the future. It’s much easier now for a customer to send mails and receive it because of the fact that there’s a track and trace system in place.”

World Post Day is celebrated each year marking the anniversary of the . establishment of the Universal Postal Union in 1874 in the Swiss Capital, Bern.
