A crew member of the inter-island vessel Spirit of Love passed away this morning after sustaining serious injuries at the Nabouwalu Jetty in Vanua Levu last week.

This has been confirmed by Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro.

The 22-year-old cadet officer was admitted at the Labasa Hospital after his leg got caught in the ships rope while helping manoeuvre it to berth at the jetty.
