A woman of Siberia in Labasa is admitted in the Labasa Hospital, after she was allegedly speared with a hunting spear by her husband, over the weekend.

Police spokesperson, Jokatama Qio, says the couple had a heated argument before the woman was allegedly attacked.

Qio says the matter was reported to Police and when they arrived at the scene, the man allegedly resisted arrest damaging the police vehicle before he was over-powered by the officers.

The couple have both being admitted to the Labasa hospital.
