It will seek to drive transformative outcomes and initiatives to boost climate action in the Pacific, and to help inspire urgently needed increases in ambition and action elsewhere.

The CAPP event is part of activities of the High Level Champions appointed under the Paris Agreement, hosted by Climate Champion Minister Inia Seruiratu.

The agenda features interactive sessions with contributions from Pacific leaders, civil society and the private sector.

The event will bring together around 300 participants from different organisations and sectors from the Pacific and beyond.

Seruiratu urged leaders to exchange ideas, innovations and solutions to initiate and accelerate transformative climate actions that results in credible and sustainable greenhouse gas emissions reductions and strengthened resilience against the impacts of climate change.
