Olympic Games gold medalist Vilimae Mata’s Edinburgh side lost to Junior Bulumakau’s Glasgow Warriors in the first leg of the 1872 Cup by 25-12.

Mata who has had a good season for his new club was benched for this match.

Bulumakau who is also a Scotland 7s player scored a try for the Glasgow Warriors.
