A restriction of movement for Nadi Town has been lifted this morning with flood waters receding.

Last night, the National Disaster Management office initiated the restriction due to the serious threat of flooding in Nadi for security and safety reasons.

FBC news has been advised that roads to and from Nadi town are accessible and its business as usual.

However, a flood warning remains in force for a number of low lying areas, so the public is being advised to take all necessary precautions.
