Vodafone Fiji celebrated its 22nd birthday in Suva today with close to eight hundred thousand users on its network – reaching ninety six percent of the population.

This was highlighted by chief commercial officer Ronald Prasad during celebrations in Suva.

“We have around sixty percent 4G population coverage and the plans for this year are to increase our 4G coverage to almost eighty percent so the company has got a very aggressive target and capital expansion works that we will be rolling out during the course of this year."

Vodafone’s network first went live in July 1994; it’s now an integral part of everyday life for most Fijians.
