Fiji Airways donates $1M to PM relief fund

Fiji Airways, Fiji’s national airline, has donated F$1m to the Prime Minister’s National Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Fund to assist those affected by Cyclone Winston.

The airline has also announced free carriage of relief supplies domestically and inbounds from other countries coordinated through the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).

The donation will assist the NDMO teams get much needed resources and personnel to areas of critical need.

Meanwhile, Jack’s Group of Companies has announced to provide $100,000 cash to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

Apart from the cash contribution, Jacks is also preparing new clothes parcels valued at approximately $100,000 to be distributed to those affected.
