Sixty one villagers from Driti in Dawasamu have all moved to Dawasamu Primary school for shelter as they prepare for TC Winston.

Dawasamu villager, Jonasa Delai,says the school is located on a hill and the District Officer and Police in Korovou have advised them to take their families to the school which is an evacuation centre.

Delai says they have prepared their food and water and bedding’s for their families and children, and they ensure that they are safe.

He says the school and a few houses in the upper ground have been allocated as evacuation centres.
