The Vodafone Fiji 7’s team has stepped up a gear in preparing for the start of the new World Sevens Series in December.

Coach Ben Ryan says he has roped in several new players alongside his core players from last season to get a better foundation from which to select his final squad.

“I’ve been bringing in players that have impressed us in the last 12 months and we will continue to do that all year. Majority of the boys that won the series are still on the Island. Only Semi Kunatani and Samisoni Viriviri are not here. So that means that we have another strong base to choose from.”
