Jet Runner’s Club President, Abhinesh Kumar was overwhelmed after receiving the National Young Fijian’s Award at the National Youth and Sports Conference in Suva last week.

Kumar has successfully completed 104 sporting projects over the last four years in the western division, including fun runs and sports inclusive initiatives for disabled athletes.

Kumar credited the assistance of the Ministry for Youth and Sports for the guidance he has received over the years.

The former national long distance runner dedicated his accomplishments to the vocational colleges and its students around the country.

The week-long conference ended last Friday at the FMF Gymnasium.
