The Auckland City football side is happy with its performance to date in the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League.

The defending champions defeated Western United 3-0 last night in Suva to notch their second win in as many games.

Coach Ramon Tribulietx says his players are playing well and their title defense in on track as they prepare for their final pool match against Amicale on Saturday.

“It’s going to be a cracking game, maybe even a decider. But we are definitely playing against a very good team. We’ve just got to recover well because it’s been a very hard game against Western United. So we will just have to prepare well.”

Meanwhile the Pool C clash between Hekari United and Team Wellington is now underway at the ANZ Stadium.

This will be followed by the clash between AS Tefana and Tafea at 7pm.
