After the historic loss to Uruguay, Flying Fijians coach John McKee and the team will now look ahead to their remaining matches of the Rugby World Cup.
Yesterday’s 27-30 loss to Uruguay in the pool stages was labelled as one of the worst performances in World Cup history for the Flying Fijians.
The loss has made our chances of a quarterfinal look very slim as we now have to bank on points of our pool opponents.
McKee says the short turn around after playing the Wallabies was a challenge and Uruguay capitalized on the opportunity.
Meanwhile, Flying Fijians captain Dominiko Waqaniburotu says the next focus now is Georgia as the team will have 8 days to prepare.
After the loss against Uruguay, Fiji is now ranked 12th in the world.
They will play their next match against Georgia next Thursday.
