Cricket Fiji’s new national coach is Shane Jurgenson.

While with the Bangladesh cricket team he began as a bowling coach before taking on the Head coach role.

The move for Jurgenson has proved timely for him on a personal level, allowing him to live closer to his family who live in Brisbane, Australia.

He has signed on with Cricket Fiji for three years and is expected to ensure their re-entry into Division Six of the World Cricket League at the ICC’s East-Asia Pacific regional qualifiers in November.

He will also oversee the national women and junior cricket teams.
