Parents to supervise on drug abuse

Parents have been urged to supervise their children well during this school break especially as there can be a lot of drug and substance abuse.

National Substance Abuse Advisory Council Director Misaele Driubalavu says children should be kept away from wrong groups which can lead them to trouble.

Driubalavu says they have found out that there is always a high number of drug abuse by children at this time of the year.

He says parents should directly deal with their kids if they suspect unusual behavior.

Driubalavu adds the main worry now is very young children at primary school level as mostly involved.
