Former chief executive of Water Authority and SODELPA candidate Opetaia Ravai, claims his unfair dismissal is one of the reason’s behind his decision to join SODELPA.
Speaking at a campaign meeting in Nakasi last night, Ravai claims he was unfairly treated and is still demanding for answers.
Ravai says entering the political arena is totally new for him.
He mentioned that he joined SODELPA to try and get justice to what was done to him by the WAF Board.
Ravai claims there was no transparency in the termination letter served to him.
It is alleged that the letter clearly stated that Ravai can be terminated without any reason.
Due to the claims of unfair treatment, Ravai says he chose to join SODELPA so that he can fight for the rights of workers in Fiji.
