Due to the prolonged and intense rain, FRA Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Moore is advising the public to take extra care while driving or travelling in this rainy conditions.

The public is advised to be cautious when accessing side roads and low lying areas prone to flooding and only travel if necessary.

The FRA has also confirmed a few roads are currently flooded in the Central Division.

This includes the Waimalua Crossing on Nawiwavusa Road, Colata Cocoa Road, Nakorovou Crossing on Navunisole Road, Wairua Crossing in Wairua Road and Saiyaro Crossing on Lofua Farm Road.
