Former Fiji Volleyball coach Peni Ratumaiyale believes players need to treat the Bula FM Marist tournament seriously, if they are to book a spot in the national team in future competition.

He says there is many major tournament coming up for which only the best could be selected.

“In order for them to be in the national team this is the trials to pick the Fiji squad for this Oceania in July and for the girls in the national team I think they got a big task ahead for them because there’s other girls in the team that are challenging for their position to play hard in this tournament”.

The Marist Volleyball begins tomorrow and finishes on Saturday at the Vodafone Arena.
