The Labasa football side knows they have a huge responsibility on their shoulders, as they host the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament next weekend.
The Babasiga Lions continue their preparation for the tournament and new coach Gurjit Singh knows what need to be fixed in the team.
“I saw the team play Dreketi last week. There are some key points I picked up. One is of course fitness and also the team behavior on the field. We have two weeks to work on that. The players have been responding well at training and we are hoping for a good tournament in front of the home fans.”
The Babasiga Lions play its first match of the BOG tournament against Suva on Friday week at 7.30pm.
Meanwhile, in the Vodafone Premier League competition, Nadi hosts Rakiraki at 7.30pm today at Prince Charles Park.
In other matches this week, Ba battles Rakiraki at 3pm on Sunday at Govind Park while at the same time, Nadi hosts Lautoka at Prince Charles Park and you can catch a live commentary of the match on Radio Fiji Two, with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.
